As has been stated, changing the oil filter will not help the white smoke issue. Better use your cash to take it to an Indy and get the problem diagnosed.

No longer in warranty found lots of posts on numerous forums all with the identical smoke issue and would you believe it most started after a main dealer service. 2.7 and the new sdv6 don't do it just the 3.0tdv6. There was an early mod by LR to do with a modified turbo drain pipe. But didn't fix all of them no one seems to know what it is maybe summat to do with primary and secondary turbos however new turbo didn't cure all cases. WTF have LR main dealers been doing on service to cause this fault. Hence she ain't goi back there again

LR stealers have usually one person who knows a little and a few "fitters" who do as he tells them. Your paying for the premises, nice clean floor and very tidy, impresses the punters who know nothing

You don't have to go to the Stealers to keep the warranty valid, any VAT registered garage will do.
True, that's about the only decent rule vehicle wise Europe has ever implemented.
