Hi everyone hope everyones ok just a quickie here the eas on my 95 4.6 rangie sometimes refuses to raise tried leaving in full height over night no problem never sank down checked for leaks none visable could it be the seal in the compressor thats very tired had a look yesterday and it seemed a very loose fit any advice appreciated thanks in advance Alan .By the way sometimes it pops straight up:confused:

Sounds like the same problem i had, sometimes it would go up straight away, and sometimes, it would take a few minutes after setting off.
Not had the problem since i had the becm repaired. I have another intermittent problem related to gear selection, so am going to swap the fuse box, maybe you should try that first.

sorry! but before i spend money on a fuse box or becm to fix a ruddy eas fault i would get it plugged in 1st!!!! If the seal was a loose fit then that aint gunna help for starters!! i would get that done anyway for the price of them and see how it goes, if its still the same then get it plugged in to check height sensors etc...

Hi Mark had it pluggged in no faults showing got a new teflon seal on its way start simple then work out if i jack the back up it will pump up thats why i thought of the seal and looking at other probs on here really helpfull site
Cheers Alan
