Will wait until the spring before I do anything rash. Tax and insurance combined is about £50 a month and looking at the MOT mileage I only did 1500 miles last YEAR so actual fuel cost is not massive either. Think this year I have spent a bit making it roadworthy and sorting out niggles and bad installations by previous owners so overall pounds per mile is higher than normal, plus its not worth a great deal as is not a minter.
I usually get a rash from just looking at the old girl :)

Well something is still not right. Been out this morning in torrential rain and lots of large puddles. The suspension lights on the dash were flashing between two and sometimes three lights, wouldn't stabilise at all. Got home and the pump was running so I pulled the plug on it. The valve block the did a small psst as it vented and the suspension is now on the highest setting. Its not loosing air as far as I can tell, doesn't drop overnight. So I guess water must be getting in somewhere.

Corroded connectors at the bottom of the passenger side A post can cause the lights to flash.
Check for we underlay in both front footwells.

I did wonder that but I was soaked through so had the hump with it. Here's hoping it's not hammering down tomorrow.

Well been under the carpet, nothing is wet but the connectors are corroded a little bit. I did find a hole on the floor but more worrying is a very burnt layer of corrugated cardboard and underlay.
