Had to reset the EAS and the suspension went up without issue.

However, the pump runs for about a minite then shuts off for a minute or two then switches on again.

Is this normal? The suspensions bags were only changed due to being worn through to the cords but all worked fine.

Maybe just being paranoid but thought I'd ask

I have no idea why this should be unless it is some kind of fault finding aid

Just a thought, if your front airbags were shot, then the rears are probably shot also, have you checked them for leaks?

I changed the rears about 3 months ago. What fun and games they were!
The locking pins were well and truly seized in. Got them out eventually though. Front ones were a walk in the park by comparison.

Only when I started pumping them up and had the car ticking over I noticed the pump. Hence the question.

Now my mind is at rest on that one I have to sort why my battery keeps going flast (got new RF receiver) and why it is reluctant to start sometimes.

Once I;ve done them then I can get back to trying to sort my 2.5 DSE (see other thread). Range Rovers eh. You gotta love em!

Yes definately main dealer. Same time as two new front door locks as they blew out when the old one packed up.

It seems more in cold weather the battery dies within 3 days (New battery twice). I'm wondering if its the sat nav player as that stays on all the time. Otherwise it's put in the dealer to sort.

Mine is a Carin sat nav tv. Original but fitted after so it's actually attached to the lid of the spare wheel cover. So it wont be a damp issue but it is live all the time.

I did notice when I jumped it yeasterday from my Pajero that there was quite a spark when connecting which implies a fair bit of current draw
