When I helped Dopey with his EAS issues, Datatek kindly supplied the cable to Dopey, and I came round with a laptop running Win7 and a very old USB/Serial adaptor I found in my kitchen drawer (Don't ask I keep allsorts of things in various places) and it worked straight away.

Went to Device Manager, found the port Number, opened EASUnlock, checked the Comm Port number in the settings, and it worked first time straight off the bat.

Preferably dump the pressure first then push the collar around the pipe into the socket and the pipe should slide out.
