Quick bit of background, i bought my P38 as a none runner, had to jack it up and move it about a bit to fit a new fuel pump.. I figured the EAS system wasn't working sue to detecting wrong heights...
Finally got EAS Unlock to connect (The OBD connector was knackered) and it had a few faults, which were wrong heights and vehicle had moved as predicted, so i reset alll faults and hit the EAS unlock button... It still doesn't work...
I've never had anything to do with EAS so this is probably me just being stupid, i need to get it out of the garage really... (In the process of selling a car so i can insure / tax it)
When i start it, the top light is illuminated, there are no faults, no new faults logged in EAS but the pump won't run.. I can start and stop the pump manually, the valves all appear to be operating.. The height sensor readings are all similar which to me implies no obvious problems...
Can anyone enlighten me as to what's going on??
I'm fast running out of patience with the abomination that is EAS and Birmingham electrics, I've already decided that if it's not going to be a quick and easy fix it's getting springs. Springs don't stop working because they're confused. Springs only stop working when you destroy them.
