Taking your experts advise and bought the cable, plugged it in using the EASunlock software and have found the following faults;

7: Vehicle has moved
4: inlet valve stuck open

I have unlocked the EAS Fault and all has returned to normal. I expect the problem still remains, and will return shortly. Any suggestions what to look for.

Thanks again, really appreciate everyones response.

INLET VALVE STUCK OPEN OR EXHAUST VALVE STUCK CLOSED
This is set when the system is unable to make more than one sensor’s output reach its demanded value. Select
Dynamic Tests/Heights and Valves to determine the cause. If operating in cold climates, refer to TIB 60/02/95/US.

From technical sheets.

More than likely a faulty sensor.

Thanks Wammers, any idea how to locate what sensor it could be?

Well it does say more than one sensor. Have you got good air pressure. It maybe poor pressure not allowing the sensors to reach their goal in the alloted time. Trial and error i am afraid. The fault codes and meanings are not all they seem at times. The vehicle has moved fault means it has dropped. Does the suspension normally rise quickly or do you have to wait for it?

It's rising ok now, however when it was showing the fault the front end (both sides) was droppoing really low when the vehile was turning off. Didn't drop every time though.

Sounds like you have a leak then. Have a look with some soap spray at different heights. Check the pipe unions and bags. If it goes down quick it is more likely a bag than a pipe union. How a bag leaks is sometimes down to how car is parked. Hole in bag maybe covered sometimes and not at others, depending on vehicles attitude.
