Right pump packed up. All lights flashing 35mp only etc...

Is there any way to wang a compressor up to the pipe and blow in enough to get to my dealer who has a new pump? I have tried already but I guess it needs to be reset before the valves will open???

How far away is your dealer? If it's only a few miles take a bumpy ride. Or take a taxi buy the compressor take it home and fit it. All should clear when you have air.

Thanks Wammers. If land rovers were as reliable as you this forum wouldn't exist!

Sadly my dealer is Tim fry Cheltenham. Told me they had one, had a bumpy ride there and nothing on the shelf. So trying to get to Salisbury via Kieth Gott in Hampshire. Currently at my workshop. Near Cheltenham. Probably just take the golf to Salisbury, just the dogs that don't really fit :(

It's easy to fill the tank. Disconnect EAS Pump, and connect its pipe to garage compressor airline. Make sure the garage compressor is no more than 150PSI.
Then apply 12V to Diaphragm valve, and the airline should fill the tank.

I built a manual switch-box with a relay connected to the pressure switch, plus an external valve between the garage airline & the EAS Pump. The relay powers the diaphragm valve, so when the tank reaches pressure everything switches off. It also has corner valve plus inlet & exhaust buttons, so very useful for raising & lowering the car when working on the a non running engine !!

you can get Schroeder valves that you can fit on the pipes and inflate manually which will get you anywhere in an emergency

Yes agreed they are useful to keep in the car. I also use my manual box for testing valve blocks.

Haha! Amazing work pwood999.

Thanks for the info. Just got a new pump.

Last job is the injectors...
