No idea mate, I've never needed one before and I don't fancy making a mess of over £500 quids worth.. What if I put it in sideways???

Hmm

Been pondering this for a while, I did an EAS overhaul on a RRC LSE a good few weeks ago and those have the EAS compressor and valveblock mounted on the chassis with a whacking great vent in the side, and under operation they tend to stay quite cool..

For obvious reasons..

The P38 having it in the engine bay with absolutely 0 airflow seems to be a bit of a hinderance, especially considering the heat that lingers under the bonnet even under normal operation.

The Box has from what I can see 2 small vents, however they seem to do sweet phuque all in terms of heat dissipation.

Being that heat rises and all that Jazz would It be worth making some nice vents in the EAS box lid, maybe in the side, to allow excess heat to escape under operation...

EAS components from what I understand get quite toasty under normal conditions anyway, even when everything is in 100% tip top shape, but surely every little helps? eh?

Whats the collectives opinion on this....

Ahem...

Cheers Lads/Ladies

Iirc, Datatek fitted a PC fan on the back.

Don’t seem to be able to take them out whole.
How’d you manage to crack it?
Mine had to be upside down to make a little crack by the rear view, hardly noticeable, taken years to slowly spread across the screen.

Or upside down, hasn't Keith got a scrapper he may part with the screen.removal and refitting all in Rave mate
Sod doing that, not touching the glass... I know it's going to cost me but I've no luck with windscreens, nice idea thank you. ;)

I think I know that screw. I pulled with a bit of a wiggle and it just lifted out. Threads completely rusted off.

Thats the git, one of many on Elliotts car. He got his insurance, just 3rd party only. No recovery or glass insurance :(

My dad used to have an d 3.0s that would eat escort xr3's. Beautiful big car. An old P reg.
Father had a 3.0L manual-RTG 260R-spot lamps on the front like the Sweeney one-but in Stratos silver with a black vinyl roof. Passed my test in a 1.3 Allegro with quartic wheel. He then bought this at 5 years old-first time I drove it I crapped myself-bit more powerful than 1.3 Allegro-boy did it go! No PAS-another one I wished I had kept!
