Is your BECM set to unlocked? That's been known to have odd behaviour.
That I am not sure, I know the immobiliser and key code are off (thank god)
Does the signal to freeze the EAS come from the BECM or the EAS ECU?
I just ask that because from what I have understood the only signal was the speed one

Door signal comes from BECM. Outstations indicate to BECM if either front door is open, and tailgate & rear doors are direct to BECM. Then BECM consolidates these as one signal to EAS ECU on pin-34.

EAS behaviour is slightly different for Door, Inhibit & Footbrake inputs. (see RAVE, EAS SID & Nanocom docs)

Thanks for that, explains some of it, do you know of a way to check the signal from the BECM to the EAS ECU, I am wondering if I have a continuity issue as mentioned by Keith. I have cleaned the big connector as well as I can but in all fairness it wasn't that bad. Maybe the BECM plug has some corrosion.... Is there a on / off in the becm for the freeze signal, just wondering if when I had the unit refurbed by Calrova it may have been switched. I cannot in all honesty determine when this issue started, it's not a biggy but just an annoyance, it use to work fine so summit went T/U somewhere :)

Nanocom displays the status, but EAS Unlock v3 does not.

Alternatively a voltmeter will do it. Just measure between Pin-34 & ground. It should be ground with any door or tailgate open, and probably 12V with all closed. The Inhibit switch goes to Pin-15 on EAS ECU so same test for that.

Also check you get door & tailgate messages on dash display.

Thanks again, I get messages from all doors (all 4 now that I have Marty's latch installed) the tailgate also sends a message so at least that lot works ok. The EAS does freeze when the brake pedal is applied too but nada with the doors open.
