RIGHT..

It seems to me that alot of posts ere are because of air suspension faults.

When buying a P38 or later RANGE ROVER it will have suspension faults at somepoint.
When buying a RANGE ROVER it Will cost money to run.
When buying a RANGE ROVER remember that its a top spec car and parts aint cheap.

When buying a RANGE ROVER you will lose money straight away.

A RANGE ROVER IS THE BEST

BUT ONLY IF PAINTED GREEN........

Enjoy the RANGE ROVER experience and become an electrician and mechanic
.

ABOVE ALL YA BETTER HAVE DEEP POCKETS AND WANT IT.

:blabla: :D

I like your sense of humour:D I have just taken the plunge and bought a 2000 P38 with FSH and 90K on the clock. (probably paid a bit too much!)I'm hoping the suspension stays up long enough for me to drive it back to France where I live:cool: Shame it's not green though:doh:

I have always wanted a Rangie and as I'm pretty good with electronics and OK with a spanner I thought it was worth the risk especially as there is so much info available from all the good people on this site:D:D:D

Green Rangies are definately better. I think it has something to do with a certain frequency of light being reflected back into the ether, which means that you will only have 2 EAS faults per year instead of the usual 4, and the repairs will only cost you an arm and a leg instead of a full set of limbs.

My Rangie is green and a cracker but when EAS goes I see green want to fit springs get Rangie fixed at a humungous price em cant remember how many times but I wouldnt sell her for the world. My OH wants to get a Mitsubishi L200  have you seen the state of them  i like to drive around in comfort and style and knowing that I could demolish anyone that gets in the way of me and my Rangie,a whole 2andquater tonne plus my 7st. As much as Id love a new Rangie thinking Id have no probs with it cos its new which I probably would have anyway and I dont have the munja anyway to buy 1 I still prefer the P38 shape, its more beasty,it wants to grab the road and deal with it whereas the new 1s are too gracefull I think.Anyway P38,British Racing Green,1998,no I mean NO EAS faults for 5 days, shes goin nowhere:D Not a coil to be thought of yet;):doh::nospamhere:

If you want steel springs, get a Classic, if you don't want electronic problems which require diagnostics. get a Classic, if you want no slipped liners, get a Classic 3.5, if you want a L322 lookalike, get a new Range Rover. If you want to keep this forum going and enjoy a moan and a challenge plus a load of good humour and advice-get one and don't forget the tub of Swarfega!!

You are right they will fail.

But the people on here have saved me stacks of money in helping diagnose a problem, rather than paying dealer prices. For that I thank you all.

Recon pump later, all is great!
