"remove exhaust outlet filter from valve block. White cylindrical screw in unit to rear of valve block. With compressor running place a finger over outlet. If air is escaping, either diaphragm has failed (common fail) or diaphragm solenoid valve (above exhaust port on block) has failed (very rare)."

Above is from Wammers (I think) instructions on the comprehensive EAS checklist. I can't find the exhaust diaphragm in Rave.
I have just replaced the compressor.
On removing the exhaust outlet filterair is ****ing out at a fair rate.
What is the fix for the (exhaust ?)diaphragm please ?:confused:

Have answered this in the thread you nicked. But here goes again. Remove valve block. Remove alloy block blue pipe goes into. Four Allen bolts. Don't lose spring. Flick out old diaphragm fit new. Bolt back up not forgetting spring. Refit valve block.

Now added to "HOW TO".

Is it ****ing out all the time then ???don't forget the car Re-levels its self and will expell some air if you have just turned it of opened the bonnet and are checking ..

Not with the compressor running it don't. If air is coming out with compressor running diaphragm is knackered. If air is coming out after car has levelled with no solenoid clicks, compressor stopped, NRV1 is leaking.

Not disputing that just checking as it will let some air out while its levelling was just making sure it was constant and that he was not getting confused with it just expelling some air

The system can only expel air when the compressor is not running. Only thing car can do when compressor is running is go up it cannot go down. Because same gallery is used to fill tank that is used to exhaust system. So if air is coming from exhaust with compressor running, either diaphragm solenoid valve is duff or diaphragm itself is duff. Very usually diaphragm.

I'm just going by the first post that doesn't say what the compressor it doing at that moment in time just that he has replaced it

Thanks as always Wammers : far from nicking it I have saved the instructions to my own computer and was just trying to explain that I had at least read up on the matter before troubling people.

Sorry to have caused any confusion with my lack of knowledge : compressor was running exactly as spelled out by Wammers.
I was in the process of going round the system all as instructed in Wammers excellent "how to"
Had renewed compressor but still no rise : had removed & refitted a rear airbag ...still no rise...so set out on the check list and found the leak.

Am I still being dim because I can't find any reference to the fix in rave.

there's obviously something I'm not following and I'm sorry about that : last thing I want to do is break any of the rules . I thought I had done the right thing by starting a new thread with the above title.
