Hi,

For the first time i'm stuck with a EAS strange behaviour.

That P38 doesn't want to lower.

It's a diesel with a problem of alternator but i don't know if there's a link.

I thought about a full of dessicant valve block and installed a brand new along with a new dryer for test. Didn't work.

I swapped EAS ECU with known working ones. Didn't work.

I swapped drive box with known working ones. Didn't work.

Same thing with EAS relay under seat.

I can control all the solenoid by jumper method and everything works as it should. I can control each corner valve and exhaust and inlet in order either to rise or lower each corner.

There's no coil spring module installed on the BECM or whatever.

During all my tests i found that the compressor doesn't work since thermal switch is dead BUT my own compressor with a good thermal switch needs to be bypassed or it doesn't work. (when i ask to lower, i remove the comp bypass of course).

I think about an electrical problem such like a bad earth or something.

I looked at the height sensors and all looks allright but didn't test those or swapped those since they are 1st gen version.

Wammers please tell me if i ignored a component.

All the best

Florent

Bloody hell that's a good un. Are you using EASunlock and does it lower and rise on command from that. Does it run the compressor? The only thing you have not changed is the selector switch on the dash.

I used my testbook sir :) and i couldn't lower the thing with it.

Yes i tought about the height selector but didn't want to dismantle all my own P38.

Bingo!!!! It was that, i remember having one old fascia and i swapped it.

And presto it goes up and down.
