Just a bit of advice that may help someone else.
I had an EAS problem in January which I solved mainly with the great help of Wammers and Datatek.
The main problem was solved with a new Dunlop compressor as the original was completely shot- although there were other issues which needed sorting.
Everything has worked perfectly until now but 2 days ago we had the usual 35 mph warning and flat on the bump stops etc.
I realised that the compressor was not working but it took me a while to find out the cause. Even though it was only 6 months old and probably still under guarantee I took the compressor apart to find that the "crank" for the pump was spinning on its shaft !! Either the grub screw had never been tightened up properly or had been tightened on the round bit of the shaft and not the flat bit.
Moral dont forget to check the obvious !!

Unfortunately the "Dunlop" compressors are made possibly in China. They also use thicker cross section Japanese standard O'rings under the exhaust reed with a deeper recess. So if you get a repair set from the UK you will have to pack the supplied O'ring or the reed won't seal properly. I have had one were the exhaust O'ring was not stuck in place as it should be, and the exhaust reed back plate so badly fitted, allowing to much reed deflection, that the O'ring came out. After replacing it stuck with a little silicone as it should be and adjusting the back plate all was well.
 
No air again. The b***** crank has come off the shaft AGAIN !! Tried some loctite this time but wonder if I will ever get it off if I need to !

As long as the Loctite is bearing retainer (the green stuff) is on the shaft only and NOT on the allen screw.
