hi , bought a rangerover with coil spring conversion but it keeps beeping 35mph max.
what wires do i connect to get rid of this message?
had a quick search but most people just tell you to get the air bags re-fitted.
this is not an option for me as this is how i bought it and all airbags and compressor have been removed so the cheapest option is to bypass the wires...but which ones?

anyone got any pics or a step by step please?

thanks in advance

Do a search again, it ha sbeen covered many times trouble is I can't remeber which two need jumping, all i remember is one of them I think is number 17!

PS do explore the possibility of returning it to Air....not as expensive as you think!

I would be suspect of any P38 on coils. If the previous owner was inept enough not to be able to maintain the EAS you have to wonder about the rest of his maintenance ethic.

Unless possibly if it's been done up as a hard-core off road P38.. although they it may have other issues :p

An "hard-core," as you put it, P38 would possibly have a lift kit on it. If it has watch out for roundabouts and any violent steering movement at road speed unless it has casters on the sides and roof.

I have the black box containing driver pack, solenoids and compressor (all refurbished and working 100%) sat in the garage doing nowt. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it or sell it, but if I did sell it, it wouldn't be a lot. You can pick them up for £75-£100 on ebay and then £25 to refurbish them. You'd (only?) need £200's worth of airbags and some pipe. So at a guess, £350 to do the lot? It would be quite an easy DIY job if the pipes were sill there...

7to18 and 25/1 you need to unplug the ecu from under seat take said screw from plug pull plug apart put jumper wires in put plug back together do not plug back into ecu ..... When u pull plug apart you need the put the jumpers in from the bottom ensure nice tight fit then put plug back together ... Also unplug the dash air sus main button .... I have coils on one mine and it had the max 35 mph on all time ..now says eas manual and away you go. Nice full control of message centre .. Any probs let me know iam sure I can help ....

What are casters?
My old discovery had a lift kit and massive tyres... yeah it felt a bit like a reliant robin on roundabouts!

"What are casters," don't believe you don't know that. Look it up. Yeah Reliant Robins were **** on corners.
