Hi all,

I have just tried to fit new air springs to my LSE. However, they have inflated at angles and the ends aren't rolling over the metal mounts. I have tried to deflate the bags again but nothing happens (maybe there's not enough weight on the springs?). I now have half inflated springs and I'm not sure what to do to get them seated right. Any advice?

How are you deflating? If the car is supported so no weight on the spring then grip the line firmly at the valve block end to stop it flailing about and then pop it off in the usual way by depressing the collet.

Raise the car but not the axle until the bags are close to fully extended, then inflate them. You have not followed the correct procedure, there is a guide in the tech section.

I am using EAS Unlock connected to the ECU. The car is on stands.

This is what I have done. I followed a guide on a different website. To clarify I have changed the rubber part of the spring instead of the whole unit.

I am going to try and raise the rear of the car up more but the fronts are already as extended as they can be.

Ah' that sounds like a hard way of doing things. I imagine you need to seat the bags to the end caps off the car before refitting the complete unit.

The bags need to be folded and attached to the end caps before they are fitted. Once fitted they need air pressure in them before weight is put on them.
