Looks like a sensor may have gone, all lights came on driving home last night. The car was at motorway level but when starting up today seems to have lowered with message of 35mph speed warning. Any one local who can help?
 
Check the compressor output as in 'How to' section. Get the software from Data so you can check the faults.
 
As Wammers said could be compressor, or could be a height sensor and if the airsprings are original it's quite likely to be a leak. You need to read and clear the faults to see what is going on. Easy to do yourself if you can work a laptop.
 
Thank you gentlemen, I don't have a lead or a laptop. I was hoping someone near by may be of assistance. I have a feeling it is possibly the front near side sensor, have tried to get under vehicle to inspect the leads but can't get under far enough...big chest and that. is there any way I can get the pump to come on and raise the vehicle or I have possibly a garage through my son on Monday evening to take a look.
 
South Wales is a big area.
Maybe if you could narrow it down a bit there might be somebody who could help.

You need the fault codes read. Check the compressor output as suggested earlier. 9 times out of 10 that will be the problem.
 
The compressor does not run at all, is this due to the EAS fault display not allowing it to until faults are cleared via diagnostic software?

You've got what known as a 'hard' fault. As you say the system shuts down until the fault has been cleared by one or other of the various plug-ins.

Yes. As you don't have a laptop, buy yourself a Nanocom and find out what is going on, or buy a cheap laptop plus the cable and free RSW software. Cheaper than going to a garage:)
 
Go to DATATEK. You not only get the lead and the software but he loads a complete workshop manual and a suspension airbag guide onto the disc as well.
 
My Son organised a friend to come round with test machine fault identified as stuck left hand rear valve, this cleared and seems to be ok now. Live and prey for the time being, when I get the cable and software off Datatek I think it will be worth carrying around with me if I can get a laptop.

Whats better a laptop or a Nanocom? Whats the advantages? Se that a Nanocom is up in the £399 region!!

A Nanocom covers every system on the P38, laptop and cable is just for the EAS. You can pick up a secondhand laptop for about £50 on Ebay:)

Believe me, valves don't stick. That is down to a sensor fault. The system has not gone to a position the ECU thought it should do, in a time frame.
 
Not had chance to run it as yet just got in from work, I have always thought a sensor was on its way out as it sometimes want to go to highest setting and is slow to stabilize.
 
The car developed the problem when in motorway mode settings probably doing 60mph when all light started to flash. The was no noticeable difference to the car even when I arrived home, due to the BECM fault 2 years ago I always disconnect the battery at night, when I came to start it the following morning it appeared to have lowered a little, but on starting up it continued to lower and then stayed at the lowest level with the eas fault message then displaying.

OK firstly it seems you have no air pressure. Either the compressor is weak or the diaphragm valve has failed. That would cause lack of air. Secondly the pressure side has a leak depleting the tank. NRV2 in the inlet tract is designed to stop air from the bags flowing back into an empty tank when the valves open to raise the car, if there is no stored air. This could also have failed. You need to get someone who knows what they are about to look at it for you. Do the compressor pressure test outlined in "How To" thread. When you have good air test for leaks. The EAS will do nothing without air.
