Ok well EAS will work fine for weeks and then all warnings come on and the lights go solid can't do anything with it put nanocom on and as soon as connected with EAS without clearing any faults car goes back to normal for another few days or weeks fault that is coming up is rhf height sensor out of range it is a new sensor and has been calibrated several times now could this be a duff sensor ? As always your expertise is appreciated

Dirty or corroded connector? Water ingress due to puddle splashing? Check the white connection in the passenger A pillar area for corrosion (common).

start by checking the pollen filter housing above, get that dry then do the wiring plug. (if it's wet).o_O

Sensor fault is not white plug. White plug is interface from height selector switch to ECU. It can cause unwanted height changes but not sensor faults. All corner sensors after initial plug to sensor go straight to ECU. So it is either a duff or incorrectly set sensor or a wiring fault on the sensor plug or interface to ECU. This fault can occur if the sensor bit count is set to close to upper or lower movement limit for a particular height setting

but but.. Flash of lightning..
loud banging.. Wammers has spoken...jesus, the stuff he knows baffles me sometimes.
I dont want to understand until i have too....:D

Hi thanks for the replies ref the white plug that was corroded so I removed it and soldered the cables straight through the sensor is calibrated to be in the middle range of the bit points so wammers I will next try your suggestion of the faulty wiring connectors failing that I will get a new sensor and start again will let you know how it goes

i had something similar, eventually i stripped the eas compressor and one of the leads was touching the com ,sometimes. Hence the intermittent fault . May or may not be your solution but hope it helps

Interface
Time between waking up and final lippy choice.....an hour a day the bathroom smells better than when I use it;)

Not sure if you fixed your issue but I had the exact fault you are saying, intermittent fault saying RH Front every time followed by a hard fault. After nearly 12 months of fixing everything it was the large connector in the EAS box in the engine bay, the wires were corroded and not visible. Cleaned and tweaked the connector and fixed the wires, all has been fine since, well, at least with the EAS ;)
