Quick update, new compressor fitted and running nicely, pipe number 2 is leaking so I'm cutting and chamfering and that will be that.

Gentle use of a pencil shapener will chamfer the endWhen you cut the air line you have to chamfer the end to ensure it is square and also gives a little lead-in to ease the initial fitment......if it is not square, it won't seal properly.

True mate,I prefer them to be folded across someonelses chest.True takes some getting used to. But it's better to back off do what you can do and no more. Better than being in a box with your arms folded across your chest.
