Although built in 58 the series wasn't registered till 60 so needs an mot...... passed that yesterday

excellent on the pass, build date is the relevant date not registered, you should be able to get exempt status

That looks great. Wish mine looked like it. Rear door top is a rear item. Like the drop rear door with the hard top. Nice and different.

I'll get some more pictures now shes on the road, He has a soft top as well .
He put an early diesel engine into it but kept the petrol engine so as it can be put back to original, hes had it completely apart and repaired chassis and painted every panel so its like its just from the factory. Not even used metric nuts and bolts
Nice reg as well I think

Wrong rims and tyres at the moment.. slim originals yet to be painted. He's also got a couple of split rims that were on it but god knows what they are off

Good job,split rims will have come from a military landy. I had a 58 two that had a number of series one parts on it and gear box had dipstick on the side.[using up bits from the parts bin I guess]
