hi folks been trying to track down EAK code for my 2.5td p38 was told by local hunter landrover (Inchape) dealer that have to get in touch with Solihull
I did this just to be told I have to pay £50 and go all way up there to be given the code
has anyone had to do this before or could the dealer get it for me

try a different LR main dealer, they should provide it for free if you can prove ownership, based on previous threads

I had to pay £10 +vat from the robbing stealers in Chester.they are no longer in business.take your V5 and photo ID to another dealer, the workshop manager can access the security database.

I've just emailed Solihull and said can you send it to local dealer he said should be able to get it from them as should be on thier system
I think the bloke at local dealer didn't want to know he was ok till I said I had a 20yr old p38 2.5td

Seem to recall a place in Richmond gave it over the phone. @MrGorsky might know the details.

Just go into BECM in diagnostic mode with Nanocom and delete need for EKA and immobiliser.
I don't have a Nanocom I've got a hawkeye Pro that should do the same thing?
sorry if sound thick I've only used hawkey to test my ABS sensors when they played up

And so they should the robbing bastards, they got away with a recall on the RF receivers.;)
I got mine from hunters inchape I called one in Norwich and bloke said cost me so call Solihull so did and said it 50 quid

I'd go back to Norwich and see whoever you spoke to and give them a quick kick in the knackers
