Ebay is rife with people selling crap, often at prices higher than a new OE part. When I was looking for tail lights recently, I came across loads second hand lights which cost more than new OE light.

Half tube toothpaste could be useful... cleans ceramics up brilliantly not just teeth and good for reviving old plastic headlights. (Not P38 ones ; they are real glass not cheap shyte)

They put a synthetic clay in toothpaste as an abrasive.

A ceramic toilet or sink will clean up like new with a light scrub of toothpaste. Not saying it will work on ceramic brakes

Ceramic is basically kilned mud, then add clay... then sell in half a tube
