I’m back
ok been searching tinterweb for the last 30 mins and I cant find what im after so im hoping theres some pc bods on ere that can help

im after a recessed metal panel to put in the rear of my main rack pc console (not a tower) I use for djing we currently have a panel with 3 vga connectors in it but now have plasma screens that are dvi

so hence we need a panel that we can house the dvi sockets in in

ive found a panel I could possibly put dvis in but I cant find a dvi to dvi connector I can mount in the panel so I can come from the back of the pc and plug into that panel to give me external connections,all the dvis I have found have been dvi to vga convertors not just straight dvi to dvi

anyone pls?:eek:
 
anything goes better?

could you not use dvi to dvi connectors with cable in the middle? shortest i can see are 1.5 meters though...or is ther any reason you could use vga to dvi?
 
Canford do a DVI patch panel, oyud need some short DVI cables to link the PC to it tough, its about all I can think of.
no chance of hdmi? neutrik do a nice range of those that fit a D cutout
 
if its mounted on the outside, then the connectors will be proud, unless yu can get a recessed plate.....
