Hi all,

Over the weekend during my first oil change I found that the MAF sensor has been unplugged.

The overal driving experiance is good, but I suppose there must be more power available if I fix this issue (does it cause any problems leaving it unplugged?).

So to the question, should I get a mafam type product only or a new MAF sensor (bosh) or a pitzberg + mafam type product?

Thanks,

Jed.

Hi Grayarea what ya gotta ask is has it been disconected by someone else [cos its shot] or has it just come undone ,well put it back and try it,if yer find its shot ,then just my opinion go for a pierbough maf [last longer and a lot cheaper than a bosch] but get in touch with the wonderfull Rover Ron and fit the correct mafam gismo to match it it will go like a rocket, and youll be all happy. . .;)

Having looked on RoverRon's site it would appear that the MAF can only be disconnected with the air filter cover off?

If that is the case then it must have been done on purpose.

I will reconnect before I do anything else anyway, just wanted to get peoples views :)

Thanks,

Jed.
