Don't want to find out the hard way that my P38 won't fit into a standard garage car wash - will it fit? Or will I lose mirrors and possibly paintwork??
Never trusted car washes since I worked at a garage in my teens. Prefer doing it by hand (come on someone thats an opening) or letting someone else do it (and thats an even better one)Don't want to find out the hard way that my P38 won't fit into a standard garage car wash - will it fit? Yep - new filters and sealed covers. Did that as soon as advised by the experts on Landyzone...are you 100% sure your pollen filters dont leak??
its not the covers that leak.. well.. they probably do, but the bigger issue is under the plastic the covers attach to, plus the scuttle drains need to be freeYep - new filters and sealed covers. Did that as soon as advised by the experts on Landyzone...
keeps you fit anorlOK, that's a clear message coming through - hand wash - as ever, many thanks.
And the spare wheel well doesn't fill with water?I put my P38 through the local mechanised carwash whenever I think it needs it.
Yes it fits, no issues so far.

I did drill an hole but alas it was a wasted one at that. Never any water in there. I did do the tailgate seal bending trickA standard feature of the P38, L322 etc.
The l322 is practically a **** indoor paddling pool that's never quite full enoughA standard feature of the P38, L322 etc.

You need to bend the flange out all he way up to the corner, at least that's what I had to do to eliminate the fish pond in the boot.It's where the lower tail gate meets the boot seal... The metal lop needs to be pulled out about 5mm. That is if I've got it correct. Then you adjust the lower tail gate latches so the tail gate pops open when you push the button confirming it's seated nicely onto the seals. Hopefully one of our members with a better memory can elaborate on this tip
@Datatek, @Grrrrrr , @kermit_rr , @Henry_b , @Saint.V8 ... Sorry if I've missed a few good soldiers
