Hi everyone, at some point I'm going to take apart my ducellier distributor and give it a bit of an overhaul. I've found plenty of instructions and tips for lucas models but not much about ducellier. I'm hoping this is because they're pretty much the same, but is there anything I should know before I get started?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The parts book for the S3 has a diagram of the internals of what looks like a ducelier.

I bought the Britpart points set for my Ducellier and I can't get a gap. The cam doesn't push the contacts apart even at the most extreme setting. Any ideas?

I've had problems with Britpart points in the past (badly made, not fitting, wrong dissy). Might be worth buying genuine? LAND ROVER DUCELIER CONTACT POINTS RTC6625 | eBay

i have just replaced the points on mine with an autosparks electronic conversion and i have to say it feels like a totally different truck starts better pulls better.i got fed up with the britpart rubbish constantly going out of adjustment only time will tell whether the kit is reliable or not but lets hope so

That is my next option jockmurray if the original LR parts don't do the business!
