Hi
I have a 1999 Defender 110 TD5. It is a Special Vehicles version and therefore comes with a dual charging battery system. When I got it, there was only 1 battery, which is now kaput. I am wondering whether to stick with 1 battery or utilise the dual charging system. If so, what rating batteries should I use?? I have been onto the Paddock website, and I see they have Optimer batteries. I have been in touch with them, and they say they aren't suitable. I am not sure why?? The Landrover is being prepared to be used as a back up vehicle for my off road trail biking tours in Morocco, so auxillary power may be handy.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
