So driving home today and got caught out in some pretty heavy rain.
Got back and parked the disco up,went out about half hour later and the drivers side indicator was stuck on and it was really bright.
I have removed the front and rear bulbs and cleaned them ,this clears the problem but then within 10 mins they are back on again!.
Any ideas,I'm guessing water is shorting something out, but what?.
Regards
Terry.

When my disco gets wet sometimes its hazards turn them self on,

Usually turning it off and on again works, but i have been known to remove the fuse

It will probably be something to do with the relays in the kick plates down in the footwells, whip em of And have a look if it's damp down there.

Thanks guys, yes its the relay. Pushing the hazards on and off again clears the problem.
Now looking for a relay that does the trailer as well!.

If you are a tight git like me you can pop open the relay with a small screw driver, Then carefully pull a strip of fine sand paper/wet n dry through the contacts, wash it all down with WD40 and bingo ,like new (ish )

done it loads of times :D

Evening all,can someone guide me towards the right relay please!.
It locked on a couple of days ago and now can't turn the decking things off.Have to disconnect the battery now
