Help please. My rear brakes are squealing quite loudly. They are drum brakes and no matter if I have the shoes tight or loose they squeal. I've chamfered the edges of the brake material, sanded the drum and shoes lightly and ensured the leading shoes to the front. They are on a year and have done 3/4k. The shoes are mintex.

I'm just after putting copper grease on the pivot point and it has stopped the screech for now. In the likely event of it screeching again I'll be changing the shoes. Ferodo was mentioned before.

Mintex were the shos of choice for the series models, but they started to fall apart in use and make shed loads of noise, so people were going to delphi (I think) and britpart with great success.
