I'm hoping for some help, I have a droning noise that kicks in at around 45 mph led to believe diff or wheel bearing the noise disappears whilst turning right then comes back when straightened up. Anybody have any ideas or may know a quick diagnosis test?

Forgot to take the misses out of the car. Easy done. Could be tyres making the noise. Bearings tend to squeal and continue lower even steering left or right. Drive shafts can drone but will be quite when slower and turning it would be worth having a passenger sit in to hear an pinpoint the noise.

It can't be the Mrs. She's dead in the boot.
I've had someone in the car. It can't be pinpointed to either side unfortunately. It would have made life much easier.

Swap the wheels over, (front to back), see if that changes anything ...

Personally, I'd bet on a wheel bearing ...
