My 2.5TD has problem with EAS, showing message 35mph maximum.
I have to drive to garage which is 40 miles away, can anyone advise if it would be OK to drive at a 50mph on a motorway.
Also would say a Peugeot or Renault garage (I am in France) be able to fix the EAS or would this be only something Range Rover garage could sort out?

it won't hurt a thing, just you get a bit of a rough & bumpy ride. someone one ere with a foultmate or similar may be close by and be willing to clear the fault for you just enough to get it up a bit then pull a fuse or relay if nothing major till you get whatever is causing problem fixed.

where abouts in froggy are you,there are a couple of people on here who might be able to help you who live in froggy land.

.no a renault or peugeot garage will not be able to help you,the ones over here wont even help their own customers never mind another make of car.
