Our insurance renewal from Footman James came through today. Very reasonable at £185 but I noticed that Driving of Other Vehicles was now excluded from the policy. I gave them a call to see if we could include it at additional cost and the very uninterested call centre girl told me that Footman James (or rather their underwriters) do not include this in their policies now!
I know they were taken over by Towergate so maybe that's the reason but she was adamant that all insurers are doing the same. So are they charging us the same for a less good policy or is this just the usual crock you get from insurers?
Anyone shed any light on this?
