Block the VCU coupling up first as its quite heavy ( just done this job ). Make sure you disconnect the six bolts on the front prop shaft at the IRD unit first, then the rear prop four bolts, finally the VCU four bolts, and lower it down. If the VCU unit is dropped without disconnecting the front prop it can seriously damage the IRD unit, and no way do you want that to happen. The prop shaft bolts have 'TORX' heads on them, which if you have got a socket, or get them, two sizes required, make the job a lot easier. If you want to be able to get to the top bolts easier, ie able to rotate prop shaft, you'll have to jack up all four wheels. Do it safely as axle stands are only £10 a pair.
 
Hi ! Had The Same Problem With My Landy 1.8.took It For Wheel Alignment And Balancing But To No Avail.then Took Off All Tyres An Relpaced Them With 205 X65 X 15 Inch.it Now Cruises Well And Smooth.
