Hi all
Hope someone can help with this problem when it is hot the car alarm goes off " alarm triggered RH F door " is what info centre says also some times when its hot i shut the drivers door but the info centre says is's still open the beeper keeps going and the interior light stays on.

replace the door latch assembly. the microswitch in there has gone tits up. had the same thing happen to me, about half an hour after the morning sun hit the car, the alarm would start ringing which was bloody annoying. had the alarm disabled with Rovacom until new latch arrived. fitted new latch, alarm re-enabled and everything was fine, no door open messages and no alarm at the first sign of heat.

I think it was around £125ish from my local LR dealer, I cant remember as I got some other stuff as well while I was there. My passenger latch had failed when I bought the car and this one failed not long after. So mine did go in a pair really.

You can get them online from somewhere like Famous Four. The latchs are listed on this page. You will need to know the VIN number of your car though, or a rough idea of when it was built so you can get the right latch.
