Hi just wondering if anyone can help, the drivers door release cable has snapped on my 97 P38 and I have to wind the window down to open the door from the outside. How do I get the door panel off cant see any obvious screws. Thanks.

There are 3 screws, 2under the arm pull and 1 behind the door lever. After that gently start pulling the panel away. There are a number (8 or so) of plastic clips which need pulling gently prising out of the door - some will probably break as you do it.

get new clips if any break and theres a screw behind the little speaker cover (top of door), becareful of your paint....

Door panel comes off as follows:
Using a plastic blade of some sort (or wrap a butter-knife with tape), pry off the tweeter casing and unplug the speaker. Next, undo the four screws mentioned above, using a Ph2 driver. Start prying the panel loose, using hands / blade. Beware that the mid-tone speaker is attached to the panel on a fairly short wire, so make sure you don't yank it off. It unplugs from the terminals on the speaker.
With the panel off, you'll find that everything is covered up by a foam liner. Dont try to pull this off - it's better to just cut it cleanly where you have to and stick it back together with duct tape.
Assembly is reverse procedure, but make sure the door handle screws hit where they're supposed to.

Good luck!

also as mentioned make sure you replace all the clips as if you dont the slider for the lock the one that goes up and down to lock the door will rattle like stink
