My drivers seat is quite tired and the lumbar support is no more. I would like to get another seat. Can anyone tell me where I can find the name of the cloth on the seat? I am trying to find a second hand seat.
Besides using Exmoor trim, could anyone suggest a suppler for a new seat,or, refurbishment? I do not want to pay silly money.

Have you thought about a second hand one?

Also , if you post a picture of the seat material, maybe someone will recognise it.

Cheers

I have considered a second hand one. This is one of the reasons why I would like to know the name of the cloth trim. A good idea about a photo and I will upload later.
Thanks for the link, biggeeeee. I have looked on their site and the foam appears to be for D3 only. Good value for money, though.

If a secondhand one may be of use, then I know of a breaker close to Oxford who has a few D2's in.

Cheers

#at one time they had a good selection of D2 seat cloths and foam.
Problem with a drivers seat from a breaker is that the majority will be at the end of their life as thats the seat that always has a bum on it ;)
I'm sure there is another site that does what you're looking for, I'll keep searching

Thanks everyone for the replies. I agree with Biggeeee about breakers seats being at end of life. However, Neilly could you let me know of the breaker near Oxford? I will visit and have a look/try on the seats.

It's worth knowing that quite a few people just swop the passenger & driver seat foam & cover as it's often in great condition
