Drove past my local LR dealership today and noticed a 2010 Defender Utility with XS trim in a dark grey metallic.
Called in to have a closer look and ended up having a test drive! What a lovely thing to drive, the seat went back further than my 110 with it's bulkhead, more elbow room, it didn't mist up, 6th gear was heaven, the engine felt smooth and pretty quiet considering.
The only thing that let it down was the back row of seats don't fold flat into the floor which is a real shame.
Still, I'm seriously tempted to sell mine and trade my company car in against it
The dealer said a brand new one was £32k and this one was £24k which seemed a tad high considering it was 4 years old. Does that sound about right?
1 owner from new, fully serviced, 45,000 miles...
