is the plug intact? Might be an idea to replace the sensor that comes with a fresh cable.

Well 195, but not far away. Yes, he said oh because of reading the live data and to get that front left one changed the battery compartment would have needed to be taken off or something like that.

Yes, the plug still is ok as far as I know. Do you mean to use the new cable on the old plug or just any other cable?

It's literally 10 minutes work to get at the ABS sensor plug.
Avoid this cowboy in future.

Yes, agreed @Nodge68. Had a look on Euro Car Parts and what was charged plus 1.5 hrs labour.
