I just have various spanners, hammers, vice grips, various pliers and screwdrivers, an ancient Bosch drill that'll go through most things and a Draper ratchet set

More or less everything is Bosch, Draper or Stanley

Robbed everything off dad for now and he's not getting them back until I finish putting the series back together

my feelings exactly.... i use plastic toolboxes found at car boot sales.... used to use metal ones but they can damage the lining of a car boot which the plastic ones dont and the odd occasions i take a toolbox indoors you dont have to worry so much about scratched floors etc.
all three of my vehicles have a plastic toolbox with a basic set of roadside repair tools..... i only carry metric spanners and sockets now.... aint needed to carry af or whitworth for a long time.

There is a rip saw in my garage, that I still use occasionally that was my grandfathers, I just worked it out it is 105 years old.
