Hi all,

I have a p38 Range Rover and if you take a look at the attached pictures you can see the surroundings on the doors around the window is rotting and peeling back.

Does anyone know if they can be replaced, if they can does anyone know the part number.

Cheers

John

Hi All,

A quick update, I used microcat online, please see link below.

http://cat.lrparts.ru/

I located the part numbers ALR8600 & ALR8601 these are for the front left and front right door glass run channels.

This is what has gone rotten and needs replacing.

Unfortunately so far the ones I have found are £130.00 each (new).

I will keep looking to see if someone has made cheaper copies, but at least now the part numbers are available to anyone who needs them.

I will post my findings on here.

Cheers

John

Last update peeps, I have found some in eBay they are used but in good order with no rust for around £25.00 each plus delivery, hope this is useful info.

Enjoy your weekend everyone.

I have the same problem with my XK8 Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag.

It's the aluminium getting wet and swelling. Likely poorly made for a minimum fee and they don't last. I thought on rubbing the bubbles down and repainting, but no doubt they will come back as before o_O
