my front door seals were rotten so i've fitted a pair of britpart ones but the fit is truly awful where the bodyline curves below the top hinge and the door lock. I don't mind paying for genuine ones if they are shaped to fit but don't want to waste my cash if they are no better. can anyone give any help on this?

Yes, they are a bit crap aren't they? if you do find anything better, post it on here. I can't seem to get rid of the daylight gap where the panels curve.

Lots of threads about it if you google....
I removed the solid cores where the seal curves.... Better but not as good as most seem to find the genuine.

I have bearmach ones and they are superior to the britpart seals. My right/drivers door fits/seals spot on but my passenger door.... My god the fit is awful. If it wasn't for the foam tape I put along the edge of the upper half of the door you could fit yer finger in.

Guessing my pass door is bent? Have tried bending it but no success. No success at a body shop either. Sigh.
