Time to change my doors as the ones on now are rotten along the bottoms, they close with a lot of banging and lifting but have not got long left before the drivers door bottom hinge rusts through.
Anyway I've got 2 very decent replacement's with just a little rust along the bottom., the rest of them are perfect. Was just going to bolt them straight on but would like to repair them first.
Question is could I repair these without welding, as I haven't got a welder and cant weld anyway.
Was thinking of grinding the rust out and maybe riveting a new bit along the lenth to strengthen it, Ive got a sheet of stainless steel what I could cut a length from.
Would this work or will I have to pay someone to do the job properly??
Photos to show the rust.
