Drivers door playing up locks on the remote but wont unlock all the others are fine if i press the remote makes a noise like its opening just doesnt unlock any one had this and what was it lol

Sounds like the lock motor is stuffed, easy job to replace, just done mine, look on e-bay about £65 FREELANDER 1 R/H FRONT DOOR LATCH / CENTRAL LOCKING MOTOR ASSEMBLY ALR9782

Yeah thats what i was thinking they easy to do mate i know the ford ones we do at work can be a nightmare lol

had to do both front doors, they arnt difficult just fidely

i bought new ones as well as i felt there was no pint in buying second hand ones as u dont know how old they are and no guarantee they will last u

will get nice marked knuckles, lolol

Sorry forgot to mention the marked knuckles, broken finger nails and bruised forearms, however not a bad job

Lock assembly...every Land Rover owner knows they tend to break (like the electric windows motors/cables)...just a matter of time, unfortunately
