anyone know the proper name for this (or part number as well) the bit on the inside of the door that holds the window winder/handle etc.

its for the rear off side door of a CSW, the top of mine has rusted out & flapping about (despite the rest of the door being in ok shape)

Door CARD? Or are you talking about the metal that the door card fixes to?
