Could anyone tell me when the door hinges changed to the Defender type please ?
Did the 109 ever have the new type or was that just the 90 / 110 / Defender ?

Series III I believe, however there are some SIII's with earlier type hinges. Probably using up supply. Of course there is no such thing as a Defender type hinge. The Defender is naturally using the Series III hinges, seeing as the Defender didn't exist until 1990

I am assuming the OP is referring to the later style more rounded and bulbous hinges fitted to the defender models.

If anyone has a full set of series two hinges, preferably with the wing mirror holes, I have a crisp twenty pound note and a two finger kitkat at the ready.
