I'm looking at 90's and see that some have the old fasioned "Gate latch" handle - and others have the more modern handle with a push button to open it.

When did this change?

Ta,

Mike...

think they used the series type handles up on the early 110's and switched to push button when the 90's came out.

My 87 has old doors. :( Anyway ive seen your colour scheme and i have a feeling your doors may be off a different waggon. :p

tis got military doors on it now but it originally had push button doors that were fooked so I scrapped em.

Least it was registerd in 87, it has "B" in the chassis number though which i think means its older.

They changed in 85 because of bursting open. My 85 has/had the revised antiburst doors that still didn't work so it now has the push button catch doors. I say now has what I mean is nearly has :)

can you upgrade a lever type door, like fitted to my 84' 110, with any age push button door? I seem to remember someone mentioning that it had to be an early push button door to fit??
