Front doors.
Where the cable attaches to the inside door handle it clips into a little white cylinder thing that pops through the handle itself. Mine's given up the ghost so the white thing and the cable pops out. Does anyone know what the white thing is called and if you can get a replacement? I'll try and get a photo tomorrow!

Speaking of door handles, my front doors are a right mare to open when you pull on the outside handles. While on crutches, I'm finding it hard going and have to have three or four goes sometimes! The rear handles are fine.

Inside, they are good as gold!

What's the cure and is there a relief to be had by spraying liberally with silicone spray in the meanwhile?

Fanks and sorry to butt in on another thread, but it did say 'andles, but not how many :D

The part numbers in post #5.

So the part numbers are for Land Rover dealers then....?

I take it the plastic has expanded or some such and is causing the problem, is it? Or is it rusted metal inside?

Had a similar problem on the tailgate handle of one of my other vehicles, tried to lube the pin, but it had expanded with rust and the handle stopped springing back to place. Ahh well, I suppose the are going to cost a fortune... 4K 'andles :D

Is it this white thing? Just been clearing the garage out and found a spare handle... yours if you want it.

That' it. Sorry, been a bit busy so not had a chance to log on until this evening. I was just about to upload a picture. Seeing as I've transferred it to the computer I will anyway! This is mine ...
