i've just replaced all my outriggers whilst doing an engine and gearbox swap. with the floors out the door fitment is miles out. is this normal or should i be worrying about this now or wait until all the floors and the seatbox are back in?

get your tape measure out and find another 90 to measure off and be prepared to do some cutting

get yer tape out, if you have welded the bulkhead riggers on wrong then put spacers in the bolts and it should straighten it out.

thats what i first thought, just tried the sill bars and they fit in perfectly, if you lift the doors they also fit the aperture perfectly. so possibly some adjusting with the hinges will be required??? i might try a trial refit of the seatbox and floors tomorrow night. cheers for your replies

i tried spacers between the outrigger and the bottom of the door post on the bulkhead, but that meant the sill bar no longer fitted and the door would be too big for the hole at the bottom edge.

if the doors fit when lifted then slacken the hinge bolts, get a mate to lift the door and tap the hinges up with a we hammer.
