Hi

I'm really haing trouble getting my series III doors to align so they click closed nicely.
The alignment looks OK , that is the door seems in pretty much the right place in relation to the rest of the body , door frame but the doors just don't close nicely or fully or pop open to the econd notch while driving .

Anyone got any nice tips to help ?

Thanks

Paul

Be interested in any replies myself. My doors specially the front ones are being a pig to sort. Best result I have had so far has been to use an Acrow to spread the door frame a tad. Seems o have worked up to a point.

most practical way i find to get around the problem is slacken the door hinges enough to hold the door in place, but slack enough to move them by minimum force and the same with the locks ,once you have the door in the position you want carefully open the door and retighten the bolts. most door problems are caused by fitting doors off donor vehicles.

yup, i did this as well, had to move one of the catches on the door piller down a fair bit but the doors now shut fully with a normal strenght slam....

.... no more boot prints on the doors for me!!! :D
