The top finisher should be installed "with" the screen as it clips / sits over the top of the glass, once the screens bonded in, theres no way "imo" to get it off / out without bending it as you physically have to pull it away from the glass.
National windscreens made this "error" when doing a screen for me, it was not fitted correctly and they tried to push it in after the screen was in place, simply not possible to do.
Sorry mate, i'm not wanting to get into an arguement with ya....you bring a car to me for an MOT without a screen, i'll just laugh at you.

Oh No, I have got Autoglass coming tomorrow!!!! They're coming to fit a new windscreen in my Discovery TD5 (only had it three days) - after a lorry flew past and off-loaded a load of gravel onto my windscreen and bonnet. I also have paid my £75 excess and now think it might be best to live with the 2 chips and the crack.
